Membership
The membership of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is comprised of more than 125,000 college-educated, dynamic, service-driven, diverse, and professional women worldwide. Our members are committed to excellence and are actively engaged in uplifting their communities through meaningful service and leadership.
Membership offers opportunities for professional growth, personal development, and the cultivation of lifelong sisterhood. Women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated proudly uphold and advance the organization’s founding principles of Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood, which guide our work and our impact locally and globally.
Membership Requirements
Membership into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, is by invitation only. Women who have demonstrated a strong commitment to community service and who are currently pursuing a baccalaureate degree or are in possession of a baccalaureate degree are encouraged to seek additional information.
Interested individuals may contact the Delta Alpha Zeta Zeta Chapter to learn more about the organization and its public activities.
- A baccalaureate degree awarded by an accredited four-year college or university that meets the Sorority’s educational standards
- A demonstrated commitment to the principles of scholarship, community service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood
- Ongoing active involvement in community engagement and service initiatives
- Exhibits qualities of being academically focused, diligent, creative, and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Professional Development
Members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated develop strong leadership skills through participation in educational seminars, service initiatives, and by holding officer and committee positions within the chapter. Zeta women also serve as positive role models and mentors for the Sorority’s youth auxiliary groups.
Personal Development
Membership in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is both a living and learning experience for women who share common values and goals. Members are afforded opportunities to engage in a wide range of activities that allow them to apply their unique talents, skills, and knowledge in service to the chapter and the broader community.
